Music TogetherLittle Woodstock Music Together
Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music and movement program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartners, and the adults who love them! We create a community of families sharing songs, instrument play, rhythm, and movement activities in a relaxed, playful, non-performance oriented setting. Watch your child learn, grow, and develop basic music competence while having all around goofy fun! Music Together classes are based on an educationally sound multi-age learning model, so siblings can attend classes together. Come experience the Joy of Family Music—it really is like Woodstock for Little People! Taught by Heather Scott. For more information and the class schedule please visit littlewoodstockmusictogether.com or call (206) 595-3139.

Children have a special sensitivity for music and movement in their early years. It is the perfect time to begin a child’s musical education, nurturing that natural love for songs and musical play. Musikgarten offers a coordinated, sequential curriculum to grow with your child through many years of music learning. Our classes are designed to meet children’s developmental needs, from birth through early childhood and beyond. We strive to enhance each child’s musical ability and build a foundation for musicianship and musical literacy.

Family Music for Babies (ages newborn–18 months)
Play musically with your baby through bouncing and rocking songs, wiggle and peek-a-boo games, dancing, moving, singing, and playing simple instruments. Music play activities are designed to increase your child's curiosity about music, to develop listening skills and a sense of beat, and to establish the foundation for singing and musical thought.

Family Music for Toddlers (ages 15 months–3 1/2 years)
Participate with your toddler in singing, chanting, moving, dancing, listening, and playing simple instruments, while developing a strong musical bond with your child. Through activities that bridge the natural connection between music and movement, your child's musical aptitude and listening abilities are enhanced and further developed.

Kaye Lubach is a certified Musikgarten educator who has dedicated many years to working with young children. In her teaching, she draws on training and experience in children’s theater, creative movement, Kodaly music education, and Orff-Schulwerk. Kaye is a percussionist, with a B.A. in Music and a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology. She is certified as a Montessori educator by the Association Montessori Internationale.
